Our fee’s start from as little as £15 per rider, depending on the size of the group to fixed price corporate rides.

Arrival day:

Depending on arrival at Bologna, But we suggest the midday arrival flight. This will get us back at the hotel for around 1.30pm.
After check in, a chance to refresh before a light lunch will be available, then unpack, sort out the hire bikes, we will have a short ride for everyone to get used to their bikes and riding the roads of the region, we will head to a local cafe for coffee or gelato before heading back to the hotel.
Then depending on the weather, late afternoon, early evening, we will have a Welcome on the Beach, sampling some light sparkling drinks and food.

Day 2: Discovering Traditional Rimini

Breakfast,
Today we ride into Rimini and discover the ancient Roman town, we will visit some of the many sights left, mostly barely standing, due to the extent of bombing from WWII, then a coffee in the piazza, to watch Rimini pass us by.
Then back on the Bikes for a short, quiet 10km ride to our lunch stop. The local speciality Take Away style food of the Emilia-Romagna Region is the Piadina, this is ideal for a lunch time meal.
After lunch another short ride back via local Olive Groves and quiet roads to Rimini where we will have some Gelato before arriving back at the hotel.
Cycling for the day around 40km??
Evening meal will be at a local family Trattoria IL Merlo

Day 3: More Modern Region

Breakfast,
The Cycling.
We head towards Rimini and join the Fiume Marecchia cycle trail, following the river trail to discover another part little seen by the hustle and bustle. We stop for coffee before making our way to the Lunch stop, nestled in the Spadarolo valley amongst the many Olive Groves we come across Roberta Frontali, Sit back and get ready to enjoy the many delicious specialties! the extra-virgin olive oil, cheeses combined with their jams, biscuits and pickles, sausages etc.
We then meander back to the hotel.
Tonights dinner will be in the small hill top Village of Strigara, Fossa Blue

Day 4: Taking it up a Notch

We ride some of the farm land of local market garden crops till we reach Santrcangelo, this famous hilltop village, is the home to the local Sangiovese wine. We will get to take coffee before exploring this amazing village with all its hidden Grotto’s and many restaurants. We will have lunch here as well. Also sampling the best Gelatoria in the region, ( thats my opinion ).
Then the afternoon see’s us venture back to the hotel meandering some quiet trails back.

Tonights evening meal, saving the best till last, i believe it is anyway, we will visit Verucchio the village of Mariapia and her Tipicita Italiane Eccellenze Enogastronomiche, this i guarantee you will not be disappointing. A last night celebration of all this great about Italian food, wine and culture.

Day 5: Departure day,

Breakfast,
On the bikes for a ride to the Port of Cesenatico, via the Adriatic Coastline. Stopping for coffee and just watching the world slide past. A chance to look around the Port and small village, then a celebratory lunch, back at the hotel to finish the day and trip, before heading to Bologna.

These are the rides we will be leading on a Weekly Basis, we will be riding to help keep you motivated.

Monday’s, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
these week days Bespoke Velo normally works teaching 1 to 1 Cycling Bike-a-bility to Adults in Southwark and Lambeth, if you would like to book one of these days for a specific cycling activity, we need at least 2 weeks notice, the charge is a min of £150 per day.

Thursday’s
This is our structured E-Series Ride
We meet at Kingston Gate, Richmond Park for a 9am departure,
please contact us if you would like to join these Endurance Rides, normally around 100 – 110km with a coffee stop near the end of the ride.
Cost is £10 per rider, with a maximum of 8 riders.
We will send out our Fact Sheet for all the information.

Saturday
This is our longer structured E-Series Ride, typically closer to 130km
Meeting in Hampton Court, on the south side of the Bridge @8am.

Starting in November we will be running a Series of E Rides, or Endurance based Rides, these will range in distance from 120k to 150k, or as you will see them when advertised E120K or E150K. They will run every Thursday and Saturday, the cost is £10 per rider and you need to contact us for availability, Thursday’s we allow 8 riders, while Saturday is 10 riders.

The E is not just for Endurance, but Energise, Enjoyable, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
This is Winter it isn’t the time to be Suffering, doing endless Reps, or climbing hills, but Energising and Refreshing your body ready for next season.
With our E-Series you will be able to enjoy a steady paced ride building your endurance and perfecting your techniques ready for a Fresh season ahead.

Endurance phase:
The word “endurance”  is associated with hours in the saddle and is ideally for riders with the time available. But! here at Bespoke Velo we understand these time constraints on everyone’s busy schedules, so we will be offering Mid-Week and Weekend E-Series Rides.

These are the building blocks for further training built on long steady aerobic endurance based rides.
Increasing your aerobic endurance should have a steady progressive rate and should not be rushed or you will become fatigued and the risk of over training.
Base training as it is normally called, is where technique should also be perfected, so concentrating on pedalling correctly, your overall body position.
It is also the perfect time to practice your nutrition and fluid intake. Your physical engine is only as efficient as the fuel it is fed, to perform efficiently you need to practice the correct fuel for your body.
So these simple tips and many more will be discussed while enjoying a fabulous route on your E-Series Road Ride.

El Tour del Juguete
Is a Cycle tourism event held in the Alicante province.
This is a non-competitive event with a winding, mountainous route running along quiet local roads, through different types of landscapes, including green mountain ranges with valleys, high hills, almond trees, olive groves, pomegranates, vines and fruit trees, with a sprinkling of castles and old town walls.
A 163-kilometre route includes two 2nd category mountain passes, Tudons and Carrasqeta, which have often been the setting for some of the Tour of Spain stages; and four 3rd category mountain passes that, although not long, are quite demanding because of their location on the route and their gradients

Where
Located in the north of Alicante province, these villages are in an area surrounded by mountains more than 1.50 kilometres high, a short distance from the coast. These include the Aitana, Mariola, and Benicadell ridges. This area is known for its landscape of valleys and mountains dotted with beautiful picturesque villages and towns full of regional character, including Ibi, a toy-manufacturing town; Jijona, hometown of Spanish nougat (turrón); and places such as Torremanzanas, Benifallim, Sella and Relleu.

The Passes
Tudons Pass, The Marina Baixa area is home to the “ceiling of Alicante”, that is, the Aitana summit. This is a must for cycling enthusiasts. The Aitana summit and the Tudons pass are part of one of the main stages on the Tour of Spain whenever the race visits the Costa Blanca. 16.3 km. long, an average 6.5% gradient -with a maximum of 13%-, and 1,024 metres above sea level, it offers cyclists and cycling tourists an amazing and, at the same time, highly demanding experience

La Carrasqueta Pass, The upper part of this pass is rich in Mediterranean kermes oaks, or carrascas, hence its name. This mountain area is located in the municipality of Jijona, between the towns of Alcoy and Jijona. The former Alicante N340 road runs through the Carrasqueta pass (1,020 metres above sea level and hardly 15 kilometres away from the sea in a straight line). With an average gradient of 5.15%, this pass, classified as 2nd category because of its length, has also served as the background for many stages of the Tour of Spain.

Sun, beach and mountain paradises
Perhaps it would be overstating the matter to say that the Three Kings came, not from the East, but from the Alicante town of Ibi. However, thanks to the great idea of a skilful tinsmith at the beginning of the 20th century, Ibi has become Spain’s toy centre par excellence.
Alicante is Spain’s second most mountainous province. Here you can find the Mediterranean landscape at its purest. Mountains rising up to 1,500 metres, quiet valleys, ravines, caves and fertile farming lands.
Alicante is a province of contrasts where mountains meet the sea and valleys are lost among hills. Remote villages, castles, churches and traditional buildings like masías (farmhouses) and neveros (ice houses), are a constant feature of Alicante’s inland landscape.
The Costa Blanca, and Alicante province, is an international tourist destination with a complete and wide range of tourist services both on the coast and inland. For decades, its 218-kilometre coastline, with many soft sandy beaches with calm waters, has attracted millions of travellers. More than 300 sunny days a year and an average temperature of 18ºC are sure to make your stay pleasant and a great experience. Our climate is one of our main assets. With a short winter, a spring and summer atmosphere can be enjoyed for most of the year.

We will transfer you from Alicante airport to our accommodation and to the Tour del Juguete on Sunday.
