#PopUpRide E Series.
Starting in November we will be running a Series of E Rides, or Endurance based Rides, these will range in distance from 120k to 150k, or as you will see them when advertised E120K or E150K. They will run every Thursday and Saturday, the cost is £10 per rider and you need to contact us for availability, Thursday’s we allow 8 riders, while Saturday is 10 riders.
The E is not just for Endurance, but Energise, Enjoyable, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
This is Winter it isn’t the time to be Suffering, doing endless Reps, or climbing hills, but Energising and Refreshing your body ready for next season.
With our E-Series you will be able to enjoy a steady paced ride building your endurance and perfecting your techniques ready for a Fresh season ahead.
Endurance phase:
The word “endurance” is associated with hours in the saddle and is ideally for riders with the time available. But! here at Bespoke Velo we understand these time constraints on everyone’s busy schedules, so we will be offering Mid-Week and Weekend E-Series Rides.
These are the building blocks for further training built on long steady aerobic endurance based rides.
Increasing your aerobic endurance should have a steady progressive rate and should not be rushed or you will become fatigued and the risk of over training.
Base training as it is normally called, is where technique should also be perfected, so concentrating on pedalling correctly, your overall body position.
It is also the perfect time to practice your nutrition and fluid intake. Your physical engine is only as efficient as the fuel it is fed, to perform efficiently you need to practice the correct fuel for your body.
So these simple tips and many more will be discussed while enjoying a fabulous route on your E-Series Road Ride.
